Good evening, families,
Tomorrow, June 12th, New Haven Public Schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule due to the heat. King/Robinson will dismiss at 1:30.
Field day activities will continue as planned, but on a shortened schedule. This is a dry field day with no water activities. Students will circulate between indoor and outdoor activities to limit time outside in the heat.
For those students attending the Lake Compounce trip in grades 6-8, that trip will continue as planned. If for some reason the park closes early, students will return to school at an earlier time. Please stay close to your phones, as staff will communicate an approximate return time during the day. Thank you!

Due to today’s extreme heat, we will have an early dismissal beginning at 1:30.
Transportation will be provided to students who normally ride the bus. There will be no afterschool programs.

Tomorrow, May 19th, students will be spending the majority of the day outside learning. Activities include scavenger hunts, rock drawing, nature explorations, nature walks, and a whole lot more! It is expected to be quite warm, so please send your children to school dressed appropriately, with a hat and sunscreen, and a bottle of water. It is going to be a fun (and sun) filled, memorable day of learning outside!

We are excited to begin planning our upcoming Taste of Nations event and are seeking parent volunteers to help make this special experience possible!
Taste of Nations is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to explore and enjoy foods from around the world. This event can only happen with the support and participation of our amazing families.
If you are interested in participating, please let us know what dish you plan to bring so that we can prepare a table space for you. Each volunteer will be provided with a table to set up and share their dish with others.
We truly appreciate your support and look forward to celebrating together!

We have a schoolwide initiative happening called the "Every Day in May Challenge". The goal is for us, as a school, to have over 90% daily attendance. Please help reach our goal! Also, at the end of each week, the class with the highest attendance will receive an ice cream sundae party!
